Yes. SCSI is a bi-directional bus and will not work at all if it does not work in both directions. That also means that SCSI expanders such as a single-ended (SE) to differential converter will work as a SE to differential or a differential to SE converter. In other words, it does not make any difference if the initiator is on the SE side or on the differential side of the expander.
